Community Potluck & Celebration
with Roger Lockshier & Rachel Wurz
Join us for our FREE community Mabon celebration!
Mabon, also called Harvest Home, is the celebration of the Autumnal Equinox. This is the second of the harvest festivals, and also a time when the light of day and dark of night are equal. After Mabon, the days will continue to grow shorter until the winter solstice. This is a time for bringing in the crops, and preparing for longer nights ahead.
Mabon is a celebration of thanksgiving. We honor the Goddess & God with gratitude and give thanks for the abundance and harmony in our lives. It is now that we reap what we have sown throughout the spring and summer months. Join us in ritual, drumming and song as we celebrate the Equinox!
Free Event! All are welcome!
This year’s Mabon celebration will include a community potluck dinner! Please bring a food item to share and a non-alcoholic beverage. This is a family friendly event!
